Shunting signal for railways

This shunting signal indicates whether shunting movements behind the signal are permitted or prohibited.

The signal consists of two lights, each with a diameter of Ø70 mm:

  • Upper light (red): Indicates shunting forbidden
  • Lower light (white): Indicates shunting permitted

The signal housing allows rotation around the vertical axis up to ±30°, enabling optimal alignment with the track direction.
Each lamp is equipped with an individual lens hood to improve visibility and reduce glare.

Inside the signal housing, there are built-in components for current measurement and regulation of the signal lamps.

The signal is mounted on a standard concrete base, with the upper edge of the base positioned 60 mm below the top of the rail head.
